Repuko ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent reputation management platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Registration: Name, email address, business name, and password.
- Business Profile Data: When you connect your business listing, we access data you have authorized, including your business name, address, public reviews, review replies, ratings, and performance metrics.
- Payment & Billing Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing details such as your name and email address. Payment processing is handled securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not directly store your full credit card number or financial account details.
- Communications: Any information you provide when contacting our support team.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
- Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Display your business profile data (reviews, ratings, metrics) within your dashboard.
- Generate AI-assisted draft replies for your reviews, which are only posted with your explicit approval.
- Send transactional emails (e.g., account verification, performance reports).
- Detect and prevent security threats, abuse, or fraudulent activity.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party API Compliance
Our Service integrates with third-party business listing APIs. The use of these APIs is governed by the respective platform's terms of service and privacy policies.
In accordance with applicable API policies:
- Authorized Access Only: We access your business profile data only after you grant explicit OAuth authorization. We never access profiles you have not authorized.
- Scope of Access: When you connect your business profile, we request the
business.managepermission via OAuth authorization. This allows us to read your business profile data, reviews, and performance metrics, and to post review replies on your behalf. We do not access any other account data such as your email, contacts, or cloud storage. - Transparency: Any changes our tool makes to your business profile (e.g., posting a review reply on your behalf) will be clearly visible in your Repuko dashboard. We provide notice of account-level changes within 48 hours.
- Content Storage: We temporarily cache business profile content to improve Service performance. Cached content is stored securely and retained for no more than 30 calendar days.
- No Review Solicitation or Gating: We do not manipulate, filter, or selectively solicit reviews. Our Service provides tools to manage and respond to reviews that customers voluntarily leave.
- Disassociation: You may disconnect your business profile from Repuko at any time via your dashboard settings. Upon disconnection, we will immediately revoke all API access tokens and cease accessing your data.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use third-party vendors that process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations. These include providers for database hosting and authentication, business profile data retrieval via authorized APIs, AI-assisted reply generation, and payment processing for subscription billing.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted storage, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law. Cached API content is retained temporarily (no more than 30 days) and deleted upon cache expiry or account disconnection.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Disconnect your business profile from the Service.
- Revoke Repuko's access to your connected third-party account at any time through the respective platform's account permissions settings.

9. Independence Disclaimer
Repuko is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party business listing platform. Any trademarks, logos, or brand names referenced within the Service belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
